About Us
Dr. Alex Yu graduated from the University of Toronto in 1991 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is a member in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association and the Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club. The Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club is a member based continuing education group that has quarterly meetings to introduce the latest techniques, studies and information on the art and science of dentistry.
The team includes Irene and Maria who can handle all your administrative details, our hygienists Dorothy and Melissa who are in charge of the office periodontal program and Dr. Yu's chair-side assistant Adriana who can put you at ease during your visit.
Dr. Alex Yu has been at the Cliffcrest Health Centre since 2000 and has a loyal and great following of patients from the GTA. He had the opportunity to practice here when a local denturist, Chris Dimopoulos, who has practiced in the area since 1986, invited him to join the Cliffcrest family. With an in house lab, they work as a team to offer denture services for the local community in addition to all the family dental services.
When Dr. Yu is not in the office, he can sometimes be found on the golf course in the summer months. He is also an avid fisherman and enjoys camping in many of Ontario's beautiful parks.
